Thus, collegiate education was introduced in these areas whose youths previously commuted to Batangas City, Lipa City, and even Manila for their college and university educations.
As a result of the establishment of TMLCR, students enrolled in the college were able to save a lot of time and money. Currently, TMLCR continues the Founder's vision of delivering quality but affordable education, with over 70% of scholars enrolled in the institution and a student market that is 50% below the poverty level.

In 1956, a devoted Parish Priest named Rev. Enrico Tunesi, OSJ, took the time, effort, and willingness to build what today stands as a landmark of Catholic education in Rosario, Batangas. The Pre-Elementary Department was established in the School Year 1996-1997 and given recognition last April 29, 1998 so that we could reach out to more youth in Rosario and propagate the Catholic Faith. The Elementary Department was established and recognized on December 15, 1999, following the 1997-1998 School Year.
Currently, it is one of the most important educational institutions in the town. In recognition of this, the former St. Joseph Institute has now been approved as a tertiary educational institution. The college has now been renamed St. Joseph College of Rosario, Batangas (SJCRB). Under the Patronage of St. Joseph, the Patriarch, the institution continues to serve the community with Christian morals.

In its first year, Holy Family Academy had only 114 students in all High School levels when it was officially established as a Catholic Educational Institution on February 13, 1962. A native of Argentina, Rosalinda Mendoza Bolaos became the first principal of Holy Family Academy after serving as principal of Padre Garcia High School.
