Binge Ready? Disney+ Philippines will be Launched this Month!

5 November 2022
Binge Ready Disney+ Philippines will be Launched this Month

Over three years after its initial introduction in 2019, Disney+ will finally provide a full-country membership in the Philippines that grants access to all of the service's Disney Originals, Pixar, and other films.

Disney fans in the Philippines may finally celebrate as Disney+ is coming to the country without using a reliable VPN or the largest server network VPN. Starting on November 17th, Filipino Disney lovers will be able to watch their favorite Star Wars, Disney, The Simpsons, Marvel, Pixar, National Geographic, and other programs directly on their devices.

Moreover, Disney+ in the Philippines will include not just its famed brand offerings, but also a portfolio of Korean entertainment thanks to a collaboration with Star Network.

Notably, Disney's Hotstar logo will not be associated with the Filipino edition of the service in contrast to the Malaysian and Indonesian versions.

With its anticipated release later this year, the Philippines will join Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore as the fourth Southeast Asian country to get access to the entertainment behemoth's huge streaming network.

In December, Disney+ will debut the much-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special exclusively to subscribers. Before Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania debuts in February 2023 and ushers in the MCU's fifth phase, this special will serve as a fitting conclusion to Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Premium Plan

Premium plans, however, may be purchased for Php 369 ($6) per month or Php 2,950 ($50) each year. Viewers may pick high-quality content based on their subscription plans, with up to four simultaneous streams and a 4K viewing experience accessible on a premium plan. Only with this plan can you get customized suggestions and set up to seven user profiles per account.

You can use various streaming devices such as Phones and tablets (Android and iOS) and Web browsers Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari via your PC or laptop. You can also connect it via your Smart and Connected TV devices including Samsung Smart TV, LG TV, Google-certified Android TV, Apple TV & Chromecast.
