SSS Number Coding System Schedule

Based on the latest announcements from SSS, your number coding schedule is based on the last digit of your SS number. Here are as follows:

• Monday - 1 and 2

• Tuesday - 3 and 4

• Wednesday - 5 and 6

• Thursday - 7 and 8

• Friday - 9 and 0

Important Note

If your prescribed transaction day falls on a holiday, you have the option to visit the next business working day. You can also visit the nearest SSS office the following week based on your prescribed transaction day.

If your transaction is caught up during System Downtime or Offline, the assigned SSS representative will set a next-day appointment for you. You can also wait for the SSS system to become online or operational again. You also have the option to return the following week of your SSS coding schedule.

Lastly, the SSS coding system does not apply to members who want to pay their SSS contribution. You can also perform an SSS contribution payment and check your contributions online if you don’t have time to visit their office. 

Tips to Remember When Visiting Social Security System Offices

Although most of the SSS services are provided online, some concerns need your personal appearance. In the event you are required to visit an SSS office, here are some helpful tips you should remember to achieve a smooth-sailing process.

Be clear with your necessary SSS transaction. 

Note that some SSS branches do not accept walk-in transactions for certain services. Therefore, you must consider online services first before heading to their office. If all things don’t work out, set an appointment online for your visit.

Limit your intended transaction to up to two.

Keep in mind that hundreds of SSS members are waiting for their turn to be catered to. Thus, it is best to be prepared with your intended transaction and limit them to up to two because not all of your concerns can be answered all at once. You’ll only be wasting your time, and so is the assigned SSS representative. Be considerate.

Double-check your documents.

One of the reasons why some SSS transactions cannot be completed is due to a lack of documents submitted. Before going to the SSS office, double-check your documents to ensure you have brought the right ones, especially those documents to support claim applications.

Get your priority number.

Before entering the premises, you will be asked if it is your coding schedule. Then, you will be given a priority number and a health information form. Fill up the required fields and wait for your number to be called.

A designated SSS officer will give you a short interview before you can proceed with your transaction. Answer them clearly and politely. They will also check your documents to see if it’s complete. Step-by-step Guide to Schedule an SSS Appointment Online

For a smooth-sailing process, it would be ideal to schedule your SSS appointment online. Here is your step-by-step guide.

Go to the SSS Web Portal or Mobile App Dashboard.

You have two (2) ways to access the SSS Member’s Login portal - via their SSS website or mobile app. Enter your SSS login details, such as your username and password.

Click the Member’s Info tab.

You will be redirected to the SSS homepage once you log in successfully. Click the Member’s Info tab and look for the “Set an Appointment” button.

Select the purpose of your appointment.

A drop-down menu will show once you click the “Set an Appointment” button. You are required to choose the purpose of your appointment. 

Choose your preferred schedule.

Before choosing your preferred schedule, select your region and the branch office you want to visit. Then, pick your appointment date, including the preferred available time you want.

Take a screenshot and print your transaction number.

When all is set, click the Submit button to receive a transaction number. Take a screenshot of your transaction number, or check your email for confirmation. Then, visit your preferred SSS branch based on your scheduled appointment.
