Expect to see a large number of employers from various industries, including government agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations. But, be sure to research the companies that interest you before the event so you can ask informed questions and demonstrate your knowledge of their work.
Make yourself presentable.
Dress professionally to make yourself presentable. Avoid wearing shorts, sleeveless shirts, and slippers. Apart from that, you must also bring plenty of copies of your resume since you will likely meet with multiple employers. You may also want to bring a pen and notepad to take notes on any important information you receive.
Always prepare for an interview.
Expect to be interviewed on the spot. Many employers use job fairs as a way to screen potential candidates and schedule interviews for later dates. Be prepared to talk about your qualifications, experience, and goals. Make sure you have a clear and concise elevator pitch prepared that highlights your strengths and what you can bring to the table. Show them how you can help them grow their investment ventures.
Practice networking with other professionals.
