Starting off in our list of top movies in the Philippines in June is the newest adventure in the Wizarding World, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) is on another journey as Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) entrusts him to lead a team of wizards, witches and one Muggle baker on a dangerous mission: to stop Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) in gaining control of the wizarding world.

He’s dangerous. Things take an unexpected turn when a CIA operative recruited Cage to help them catch this superfan-turned-friend.

This movie follows the story of convicts who were offered to shorten their sentence in exchange for their brain chemistry. The prisoners who volunteer as medical subjects will take an experimental dosage monitored and controlled by a mad scientist. This new drug is capable of generating all kinds of feelings, until they begin to question the reality of their emotions.
6. Morbius

Retaining its sixth spot in the list is Morbius. This movie follows the story of a scientist-turned-vampire Dr. Michael Morbius. He is suffering from a rare blood disease and in an attempt to cure himself, he accidentally turned himself into a vampire. Will he give in to his blood thirst or continue saving lives?
5. Hustle

Another newcomer in our list of top movies in the Philippines in June is Hustle. This movie follows the story of a basketball scout played by Adam Sandler. In the movie, Stanley Sugerman travels across the world to scout new basketball talents. Of all the places he has been to, he discovers a phenomenal basketball player in the most unlikely places – a street in Spain. He sees this new talent as his opportunity to get back into the NBA.
4. Jurassic World

From ninth in May to fourth in June, Jurassic World surely is a popular choice. Jurassic World is a theme park that serves as a habitat for a myriad of dinosaurs, including the new genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, Indominus Rex. When it escapes, it goes on a killing spree and causes the other dinosaurs to run amok. It's up to the former military man and animal expert played by Chris Pratt to use his special skills to save the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.
3. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, there’s another catastrophic event that Owen Grady and Claire Dearing will be facing. 2. Spider-Man No Way Home

Holding the number two spot in June is Spider-Man No Way Home. Starring Tom Holland, the movie follows the story of Peter Parker who turned to Dr. Strange for help after Mysterio revealed his true identity to the public. However, the spell went wrong colliding multiple universes.

And so, still in the number one spot is Top Gun. The movie follows the story of a young daring pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell who was accepted into an elite fighter school called Top Gun. It was a dream come true for him. He will be competing with the equally-talented student Iceman in a highly-competitive training. But when Pete’s father died, it slowed him down. The tragedy and personal demons will then threaten Pete’s dream of becoming a top fighter pilot.
