Hence, creating opportunities for individuals wanting to start a career as a real estate professional. No wonder a lot of people see the possibility of pursuing a career in this industry. Housing developers like Lumina Homes offer not just affordable houses and lots to every Juan but also lucrative careers where one can guarantee professional growth.

Are you an aspiring agent looking for a review center that will help you ace the real estate brokers' licensure exam? We rounded up 5 of the best review centers in the Philippines to get you started!

But first, here's why you should get a real estate broker license and start your career.

Why Should You Get a Real Estate Broker License?

Aside from the fact that it is now mandated by the passage of R.A. 9646 or also known as the RESA Law in 2009, the need to require a professional license was designed in order to protect buyers and sellers of real estate property. A licensed real estate broker is also protected by the said law to practice a guided profession.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) regulates the practice of being a real estate agent through a licensure examination. Unlike before, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) issued a Memorandum Order providing for the policies and guidelines for the Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Management (B.S. REM) course in 2011. That states that having a degree in B.S. Real Estate Management is a requirement so you can take the licensure exam.

RESA Law Section 14 (b) stated:

“SEC. 14. Qualification of Applicants for Examinations. In order to be admitted to the licensure examination for real estate service, a candidate shall, at the time of filing his/her application, establish to the satisfaction of the Board that he/she possesses the following qualifications:

(b) A holder of a relevant bachelor’s degree from a state university or college, or other educational institution duly recognized by the CHED: Provided, That as soon as a course leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Service is implemented by the CHED, the Board shall make this course a requirement for taking the “licensure examination.”

Before moving forward to find a review center, make sure to possess the qualifications needed as stated in the R.A. 9646 Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

Take note that the Professional Regulatory Board also requires a separate license for real estate appraisers and real estate consultants. Hence, if you wish to specialize in the appraisal of property or real estate consultancy, you may take them after you pass the real estate broker’s license examination.

For other licensure examinations, self-study is an option but it's not the case in taking the real estate brokers' exam. You must complete at least a hundred and twenty (120) units of real estate subjects only through verified and accredited training centers.

With lots of accredited real estate broker examination training centers in the Philippines, finding the best one might be tough. Hence, we made a shortlist of the training centers where aspiring real estate brokers like you can move closer to your dream to own a license.
