Festivals in Laguna that will Make you Love the Province

Coconut Festival (San Pablo City)

It lasts for a whole week. Laguna's yearly festival has increased in popularity ever since it began in 2004 and is now considered as one of events that everyone highly anticipated each year. It's important to Anilag that they show their gratitude for all of the income they get from their growing agricultural tourist attractions that are only found in the province of Laguna. These include bibingka made from native macapuno and a variety of other delights including buko pie, puto, espasol, salted eggs, battered duck, white cheese, and more.

Pinya Festival (Calauan)

The Pineapple Festival is held in Calauan, Laguna, on the 15th day of May, and is a well-known event in the area. 'Kalawang,' a Tagalog language meaning rust, gave its name to the settlement.

For decades, rusty chunks have been reported to gently float on the surface of a body of water known as Macalawang Spring. Isidore the Laborer, also known as San Isidro Labrador in Spanish, is the patron saint of Calauan and the patron saint of farmers.

Beginning in 1999, the festival has been held on a yearly basis. Calauan's pineapple and other agricultural goods are usually promoted during the event.
