The family is an integral institution in society, and it can't succeed without mothers playing their important role. Mothers are essential to their children's well health and positive development. They are not just caretakers but can also be the family's primary income providers.

Mothers, in particular, are the most important teachers in the life of the young children. We inherit eternal knowledge from them, a heritage so rare and priceless that no amount of money could buy. Since their children's early days, mothers have changed the world. They have rocked and nurtured their kids, while also teaching them how to grow up as responsible, God-fearing individuals that will help them out to do and achieve great things in life.

Mothers provide an essential function as a nurturer. Learning to love as our moms taught us is a special experience, as is understanding God's love in a deeper way.

Regardless of how well a mother cares for her children, what's really essential is how much she them. Every mother’s primary responsibilities are crucial in the lives of humanity especially their wholeheartedly love for their children.

Speaking of love. Love can be express in a great deal of ways. But as they say, one of the best methods to convey it is through cooking.

Lumina Homes, for their 9th anniversary celebration in the Philippines’ real estate market, launched a competition especially prepared for the hardworking moms that also act as real estate agents called as ReINA ng Every Juan. These amazing moms who can simultaneously handle the demanding work of being a real estate agent and the exhausting work of a mother created some useful vlogs to help other working mommies like them on how to manage both their career and their role as moms at home.

One of the most challenging things that our mommies usually encounter especially now, that most of the family members are at home, is deciding on which kind of dish to cook for the day.

In cooking our food at home, it’s always important to observe the healthy and safety way in preparing them like wearing a hair net, making sure that our hands and nails are clean, and wearing an apron.  Also it’s vital, particularly in times of the pandemic, to wash the vegetables and other fresh ingredients thoroughly in running water in order to make sure that they are all clean before cooking.

Additionally, when preparing food, we should keep the nutrients intact and make healthy choices that include appropriate amounts and whole meals with less fat.

Here are some tips on how to do Oyster Butter Shrimp:

  1. Steaming, broiling, grilling, and roasting are all great ways to keep your food nutritious. Avoid preparing deep-fried meals as much as possible as they are unhealthy because of the excessive fat they contribute to our diet.
  2. It is vital to keep vitamins soluble in water, such as B’s and C, intact since meals that include such them are very important. In order to do this, you should boil your food in as little water as possible and for the shortest amount of time.
  3. Using a variety of herbs and spices in your cooking will make your dishes taste better, and it's far better than depending on salt alone.
  4. To keep the amount of salt, sugar, and fat in your diet down, avoid processed foods. You should be aware that eating these meals makes you consume much more salt, sugar, and fat and often without knowing specifically what or how much of them you consume at that time. Eating processed meals means that we're getting fewer nutrients and phytochemicals that our bodies require.

When it comes to Filipino dishes, seafood is one of the most favorite at home, especially shrimps. You can cook a delicious dish out of it by trying this Oyster Butter Shrimp menu:

  1. Put the 2 tbsp. cooking oil into the pan and wait until it is already hot enough.
  2. Then sauté the minced garlic and sliced ginger.
  3. Put the marinated shrimp into the pan.
  4. Cook and mixed everything until the shrimps turn to an orange color then add the2 tbsp. butter
  5. Mix evenly the ¼ tsp. salt and pepper along with 1 tbsp. brown sugar in a bowl before putting into the pan.
