Planning To Get a CPD Training? Here's Where You Can Get Them!
31 March 2022We live in a very competitive world. To say that competition is cutthroat may as well be an understatement. Bachelor's degrees, master's, doctorate, or Ph.D. may look good on paper, but this is just the bare minimum. The letters after your name sure look impressive but are they enough to outsmart the competition?
Unfortunately, it isn't. No doubt, degrees are important. It gets your foot in the door, but the advanced knowledge and skills you can achieve through continuous learning make you ahead of the pack.
One such training that is a must-have in every professional's arsenal is Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
According to the Department of Labor and Employment, CPD is very relevant because it "ensures that you maintain and enhance the knowledge and skills you need to deliver a professional service to your customers, clients, and the community."
The CPD is an ongoing process and a career-long obligation for practicing professionals to ensure that knowledge is up to date to keep abreast of changing trends. CPD helps one become professionally competent by "upgrading and updating knowledge and skills for the profession as brought about by modernization, scientific and technical advancements in the profession."
