Pag ibig Calamity Loan Online Application Guide 2022

The Philippines is susceptible to natural disasters. These include volcanic eruptions, storm surges, floods, and landslides, among others.

As a result, Filipinos are vulnerable to devastating accidents and extreme suffering and losses, particularly in the impacted regions. Because of this, the Pag-IBIG Fund, aside from its Multi-Purpose Loan, also offers Calamity Loan for its qualified members (whether you are self-employed or not) affected by natural disasters with prompt financial aid. Let's take a closer look at the loan program, the requirements, and the process of applying online.

What is Pag-IBIG Fund Calamity Loan?

In addition to Pag-IBIG MPL, there is a Calamity Loan available to members of the Pag-IBIG Fund who are in areas declared by the Office of the President or the Sangguniang Bayan that need financial aid due to a calamity or natural disaster.

The Pag-lBIG Fund's Calamity Loan Program is confined to man-made events and any of the following naturally occurring disasters and hazards that include the following:

• Earthquake

• El Nino and La Nina Phenomena

• Landslide

• Storm Surge

• Tornado

• Tsunami

• Typhoon

• Volcanic Eruption

To determine whether the Fund will open the program to cover the calamity in the event that it is not caused by natural disasters or geological processes, an internal evaluation will be conducted upon Board permission.

In addition, the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan must be availed by eligible members within ninety (90) days after the proclamation of a state of calamity by the Office of the President or the Sangguniang Bayan for their area of residence.

How to be eligible for a Pag-IBIG Fund Calamity Loan?

On top of this, the borrower must also be a Filipino national and must reside in an area that has been designated a State of Calamity by the President's Office or the Local Sangunian authority.

How much Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan amount can I borrow?
